You can expect to feel like a part of the family when you come through the doors of our church. We hope that you will feel the love that we share for one another at FBCSF. During the service, we like to let our children take an active part! Towards the beginning of the service, we will celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. This will be a time that we sing to anyone who has had a birthday over the last week. While we are singing, our children will walk around and collect an offering called a "Bucket Fund" offering that was started many years ago. This offering is used for local missions in our community. The regular Tithes and Offerings are collected via a box at the back of the Worship Center.
Once the music portion of our service is completed, our children will exit with our children's director and volunteers at the back of the Worship Center to the Activities Building (connected to the Worship Center) for Children's Church. Our Pastor, Bro. Robert, will deliver a Bible-centered sermon. Towards the end of the service, Bro. Robert will give an opportunity for anyone to respond in an invitation if you should have a need for prayer or questions about your faith. Also, the children will return to the Worship Center at this time and sit with their families. The service will usually end with a song or prayer. Many times, you will find our members visiting and talking in the Worship Center after the service.
At any time during the service that you should need assistance, please feel free to step to the back of the Worship Center. We have greeters and staff members who are available to assist you. There are also restrooms in the back corner of the Worship Center if you should need them. We are honored for you to join us for worship, and we hope that you will come back again soon!
